Quality [kwol-i-tee] noun: works that excel in concept, composition, and execution
Quality works rationals
- "The Blizzard of Oz"- I feel that this piece very well demonstrates "create original art." From the beginning of the project I knew that I wanted the characters to be in snow suits and in a snow storm. I feel that this was a very original idea that I executed well.
- "Par Wars"- As with the first piece listed, I also feel that this piece was very original. It was the most complex idea I had created out of all of the posters I made in my concentration. From planning out what "Star Wars" characters would be changed into, to how the background would look, I believe my final piece was very successful.
- "#specious"- This piece was one of my best for "communicating through my work." Not only did I like the visual aspect of it, but I also felt that the message that I was trying to send to my audience was clearly understood.
- "SCC Logo and Business Card"- This project was a neat and unique experience for me, as SCC is my Dad's business. This was one of the first logos I had made for a "real" client, and I was very happy with how I "solved problems" and performed research, as I had never made a letterhead/ fax sheet before.
- "B&D Acres Brochure"- My final quality works piece is a brochure I created for B&D Acres farm. This project was definitely different than others I had done before. I had never made a brochure before, let alone know much about InDesign. I needed to "solve problems" to be able to complete a project of this type for the first time.
